Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the Couple Status mobile application (the "App") operated by Abdukhalik Magomedov.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, then you may not access the App.

2. Description of Service

Couple Status makes it easy for couples to share their status (e.g., "Busy", "Free", "Driving") with each other. The App relies on internet connectivity to synchronize data between devices.

3. User Accounts and Linking

  • You may be required to generate or scan a QR code/link to connect with your partner.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your device and connection method.
  • You agree to use the App only for its intended purpose of sharing status with a consenting partner.

4. Subscriptions & Digital Purchases (Couple Status Pro)

  • Shared Benefit: "Couple Status Pro" is offered as a shared subscription or one-time lifetime license. When one user in a linked couple purchases a plan, both users receive access to Pro features as long as their accounts remain linked.
  • Apple App Store Purchases: Subscriptions purchased within the iOS app are managed and billed through the Apple App Store under Apple's standard terms.
  • Web & Android Purchases (Paddle.com): For orders placed via our website (e.g., for Android web checkout), our order process is conducted by our authorized online reseller and Merchant of Record, Paddle.com. Paddle is the Merchant of Record for all our web orders and provides customer service inquiries, international tax compliance, and returns.
  • Billing & Renewals: Recurring subscription plans (Monthly and Annual) automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled. Pricing and billing intervals are clearly displayed before purchase in USD.
  • Cancellations: You can cancel recurring subscriptions at any time. For web purchases, you may cancel via the self-service management link included in your Paddle email receipt, or by contacting our support team at support@pand0raq.dev. When cancelled, both partners retain Pro access until the end of the current billing cycle.
  • Unlinking: If a couple unlinks, the Pro status remains with the partner who made the purchase. The other partner will lose access to Pro features unless they activate their own plan or link with an active Pro user.

5. Refund Policy

We want you to be satisfied with Couple Status:

  • Paddle.com Web Purchases: We offer a 14-day 100% money-back guarantee for all purchases completed via our online reseller Paddle.com. If you are not satisfied with Couple Status, contact us at support@pand0raq.dev or contact Paddle customer support directly via paddle.net within 14 days of purchase with your order reference. Full refunds are credited back to your original payment method.
  • Apple App Store Purchases: In-app purchases made through Apple are governed by Apple's Media Services Terms and refund requests must be submitted directly to Apple via reportaproblem.apple.com.

6. User Conduct

You agree not to use the App:

  • To harass, abuse, or harm another person.
  • For any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
  • To transmit any viruses or malicious code.

7. Intellectual Property

The App and its original content, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Couple Status and its licensors.

8. Third-Party Services

The App may use third-party services (e.g., Firebase, Paddle, Analytics providers) that declare their own Terms and Conditions. We are not responsible for the content or practices of these third-party services.

9. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.

10. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Couple Status, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of or inability to access or use the App.

11. Disclaimer

The App is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. The App is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or course of performance.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Georgia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

13. Changes

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. By continuing to access or use our App after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
